The premiere for long-awaited Netflix series Girlboss has finally been announced and is hitting our screens on April 21.
Girlboss, created by 30 Rock and Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon and based on the book by entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso, will centre on the early days of Amoruso’s online retail empire Nasty Gal, and how she went from “dumpster diving” for vintage threads to owning a multimillion-dollar business.
The 13 episode series screening date was announced in New York, where producer Charlize Theron and Kay Cannon joined actress Britt Robertson, director Christian Ditter and Sophia Amoruso as they discussed the show as part of a panel.
